             ·   Conducted vibration ODS test on a certain scroll compressor, and combined with FEA model to reconstruct the virtual sound field;

             ·   Use B&K acoustic brushes to conduct near-field sound source positioning tests to obtain radiated sound power and sound field cloud images;

             ·   The virtual reconstructed sound field is used to benchmark against actual measurements to verify its reliability.

      Case 4: Design, development and cost reduction analysis of sound insulation cover for a commercial air-conditioning compressor

             ·   Based on near-field acoustic testing, obtain the equivalent sound source (ESM) of the compressor;

             ·   Based on the ESM results of the compressor, design the sound insulation cover and evaluate the noise reduction;

             ·   Carry out cost reduction analysis and performance analysis based on the microscopic test results of materials;

             ·   Propose the final noise reduction plan and optimize costs.
